Sabo as a Red/Black Leader
ST-35 is the only dual-colour deck of the wave. It pairs red's power buffing with black's cost reduction and removal, giving it two levers the mono-colour decks do not have.
Among the new cards, Koala, Bartholomew Kuma and Karasu deploy from hand or from the trash and return rested DON!! to the Leader, Hack removes a target on entry, and Lindbergh weakens an opposing Character.
Complete effect texts can be read on the card pages linked from here.
Playstyle
ST-35 is a midrange combat deck. The plan rests on chaining out several Revolutionaries in a single turn, with steady recursion from the trash that sustains pressure without emptying your hand.
Its dual colouring is both a strength and a constraint: it widens your options, but demands attention to which colours are available when you play a card. That also makes it a good introduction to building dual-colour decks.
Who it's for
ST-35 suits the player who wants a balance between aggression and interaction without committing to pure control. It shows in practice what a second colour brings, which no other deck in the wave does.
Competitively, the Revolutionary Army archetype has solid support behind it, and the ST-35 package slots into several existing red and black lists.
Beginners Deck Party
The wave was supported in stores by the Beginners Deck Party, held from 31 July to 30 August 2026. Players used one of the six ST-31 to ST-36 decks as sold, taking home a participation card and, for the winners, a second card, six versions of each.
Tournament legality
ST-35 cards are legal in official tournaments seven days after the release date in your region. They can be played from the pre-release date at participating local game stores.
Collecting, rarity and market
Starter deck cards carry their deck's code (ST35-001, ST35-002 and so on) and are mostly reprints of previously released cards. Individual values stay modest as a rule, the exception being the new cards, whose prices depend on how far they are adopted in competitive play.
Prices shown on individual card pages are market averages. Rarity, condition and demand explain most of the spread.
Other printings
ST-35 is also printed in French and Japanese.
