Luffy & Ace as a Red/Green Leader
The ST-30 Leader is red and green multicolour, an unusual configuration for a starter product. Resting one DON!! card activates Rush along with When Attacking effects, letting you apply immediate pressure the turn a Character hits the board.
Its second effect triggers on the opponent's turn and boosts all your Portgas D. Ace and Monkey D. Luffy Characters, turning defence into a genuine phase of play. The trade-off is 4 Life and a power penalty if you control a Character with high original power: deckbuilding stays deliberately centred on mid-sized Characters.
Among the standout cards, Portgas D. Ace and Monkey D. Luffy each get a Super Rare version, which also appear as alt arts in the Bonus Pack.
Every card has its own page, with the complete effect text, cost and colour.
Playstyle
ST-30 is a midrange deck. It combines red's aggression with green's combat tools, around a 6000 power threshold that most of the deck's search, draw and protection effects key off.
What sets it apart is staying active during the opponent's turn: the power boost from the Leader complicates their attack maths and lets you survive turns that would be lethal for a conventional aggro deck.
Who it's for
ST-30 is playable out of the box and works for a beginner, but it sits differently from the standard starter decks. The EX format targets established players too, with a higher power level and a premium finish on every card.
On the collecting side, the full foil treatment and the random Bonus Pack make it one of the most closely followed starter products in the game. Drawing 3 cards from 17 types encourages picking up multiple copies to complete the alt-art run.
Tournament legality
ST-30 cards are legal in official tournaments seven days after the release date in your region. They can be played from the pre-release date at participating local game stores.
Collecting, rarity and market
ST-30 cards carry the deck's code (ST30-001, ST30-007, ST30-012 and so on). Unlike standard starter decks, the entire contents come in a foil finish, which supports the value of sealed product.
The most closely tracked cards are the Luffy & Ace Leader, the Portgas D. Ace and Monkey D. Luffy Super Rares, and their alt-art versions from the Bonus Pack. Average prices for each card are shown on the card pages here and move with the market.
