Yamato as a green/yellow Leader
The ST-28 Leader carries Double Attack: every connected attack deals 2 damage instead of 1, which halves the number of hits needed to win.
Her second effect fires once per turn, once your opponent is down to 3 Life cards or fewer: you hand up to 2 rested DON!! cards to one of your Characters to land the finishing blow.
Among the new cards, Kouzuki Momonosuke and Yamato arrive as Super Rares, alongside Ashura Doji, Izo and Kin'emon.
Effects, costs and colours are set out card by card on the pages linked here.
How it plays
ST-28 is a racing deck. Double Attack shortens the game, and the second effect turns the closing stretch into a quick execution.
The drawback is exposure: a Leader that attacks often is a Leader that regularly finds itself on the receiving end. The deck compensates with Wano's sturdy Characters and green's untapping tools.
Who it is for
ST-28 suits a player who wants short games. It teaches the damage race and shows how a single keyword, Double Attack here, can rewrite the maths of a whole match on its own.
Established players pick it up for the new Wano cards, in particular the Yamato and Kouzuki Momonosuke Super Rares.
Beginners Deck Party
Stores held the Beginners Deck Party around the release. The six ST-23 to ST-28 decks were the only lists permitted, unaltered, with a participation card for everyone and a winner card for the top finishers, each in six versions.
Tournament legality
ST-28 cards are legal in official tournaments seven days after the release date in your region, and playable from the pre-release date at participating local game stores.
Collecting, rarity and market
Starter deck cards carry their deck's code (ST28-001, ST28-004 and so on) and are partly reprints. The most followed here are the Yamato and Kouzuki Momonosuke Super Rares.
Market values are detailed for each card. They move with supply, the condition of the copies and current demand.

ST-28 is also printed in French and Japanese. The French edition released on 20 June 2025.
