Jewelry Bonney as a green Leader
The ST-24 Leader is Jewelry Bonney. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, you may rest one of your DON!! cards to rest an opposing Leader or Character.
That is green's founding mechanic: a rested Character cannot block and does not stand up again until the following turn. Resting the right blocker at the right moment opens a clear path to the Leader.
Among the new cards, Law & Bepo arrives as a Super Rare with 11 000 power for a cost of 10, and Kid & Killer completes the pair. They are joined by Capone "Gang" Bege, Basil Hawkins and X Drake, all members of the Eleven Supernovas.
Refer to each card's page for its precise effect, its cost and its colour.
How it plays
ST-24 is a green board-control deck. It does not remove opposing Characters, it makes them useless, resting them exactly when they were needed to block.
The pace is slower than the red deck of the wave: you set the board up, neutralise the defence, then strike in one sequence. The deck's larger cards act as finishers.
Who it is for
ST-24 suits a player who would rather anticipate than race. It teaches the difference between destroying and neutralising, a distinction that runs right through the One Piece Card Game.
Established players pick it up for the new Supernovas cards, a regular presence in competitive play.
Beginners Deck Party
The wave came with the Beginners Deck Party, held at participating stores. Only the six ST-23 to ST-28 decks were allowed, exactly as sold, and everyone left with a card, winners with a second one, six versions of each.
Tournament legality
ST-24 cards are legal in official tournaments seven days after the release date in your region, and playable from the pre-release date at participating local game stores.
Collecting, rarity and market
Starter deck cards carry their deck's code (ST24-001, ST24-002 and so on) and are partly reprints. The most followed cards here are the Law & Bepo and Kid & Killer Super Rares, two double cards with strong collector demand.
