Donquixote Doflamingo as a blue Leader

The ST-17 Leader is Donquixote Doflamingo, in alternate art. His effect needs two DON!! cards attached: while attacking, you may rest a DON!! card to reveal the top card of your deck and, if it is a Seven Warlords of the Sea Character costing 4 or less, put it into play rested without paying for it.

That is free deployment: every attack can turn into an extra Character, provided the deck stays dense in cheap Warlords.

How it plays

ST-17 is a blue deployment deck. Where blue usually bounces and controls, this one occupies the board: you attack to deploy, and you deploy in order to attack.

The thing to watch is deck construction. The Leader's effect only pays off on Warlord Characters costing 4 or less, so any off-theme card you add mechanically lowers your hit rate.

Who it is for

ST-17 suits a player who wants to understand what makes a deck coherent. It is the clearest illustration in the wave of why an archetype is built around conditions rather than around a list of good cards.

Established players pick it up for the alternate-art Doflamingo Leader and the two Super Rares.

Tournament legality

ST-17 cards are legal in official tournaments from the pre-release date in your region, subject to the official Bandai restriction list.

Collecting, rarity and market

Starter deck cards are largely reprints with modest single values. The alternate-art Donquixote Doflamingo Leader is the exception and the card the product is bought for, helped by the character's lasting popularity.

The observed average price is displayed on each card page. Rarity, condition and demand stay the deciding factors for ST-17.

Other printings

ST-17 is also printed in French and Japanese. The French edition released on 7 February 2025, as part of the launch of the French edition of the game.
