Uta as a green Leader
The ST-16 Leader is Uta, in alternate art. Once per turn while attacking, by spending a DON!! card, you reveal the top card of your deck and add it to your hand if it carries the FILM type, putting the rest at the bottom.
It is incremental search: the denser your FILM count, the more often the Leader feeds your hand, turn after turn. The deck also carries the music-themed cards tied to the film.
Effects, costs and colours are set out card by card on the pages linked here.
How it plays
ST-16 is a green mid-game deck oriented towards accumulating resources. It attacks less quickly than the red deck of the wave but builds a fuller hand, which it then spends across a few decisive turns.
Green is traditionally the colour that sets its own Characters active and declines unfavourable combat, and ST-16 gives an accessible version of that, where most decisions turn on when to fire the Leader's search.
Who it is for
ST-16 suits a player who prefers building to charging. It teaches hand management and the notion of an archetype, since the Leader only rewards cards of the right type.
On the collecting side it is the most sought-after deck of the wave: three Super Rares, six promotional cards and an alternate-art Uta Leader.
Tournament legality
ST-16 cards are legal in official tournaments from the pre-release date in your region, subject to the official Bandai restriction list.
Collecting, rarity and market
ST-16 stands apart from the rest of the wave on composition alone: 3 Super Rare and 6 promotional cards, where the others carry at most 2 Super Rares. That makes it the most followed product of the six on the secondary market.
Market values are detailed for each card. They move with supply, the condition of the copies and current demand.
Other printings
ST-16 is also printed in French and Japanese. The French edition released on 7 February 2025, as part of the launch of the French edition of the game.
