Edward Newgate as a red Leader
The ST-15 Leader is Edward Newgate, in alternate art. It is a rare statline: 6 Life instead of 5 and 6000 power instead of 5000.
The effect is simple to follow: at the end of each of your turns, you add the top card of your Life to your hand. You are converting Life into playable cards, and the extra starting Life is what makes the trade viable.
The deck runs on the Whitebeard Pirates and on Rush, the keyword that lets a Character attack on the turn it arrives.

How it plays
ST-15 is a mono-red aggressive deck. The plan is to keep your hand full through the Leader, then turn that advantage into repeated attacks with Rush Characters.
Its character comes from the exchange it offers: every extra card costs a point of Life. Played well it never runs dry, played badly it hurries your own defeat.
Who it is for
ST-15 is playable out of the box with no deck building required. It teaches a central idea of the game: Life is not only a countdown, it is also a reserve of cards.
Established players pick it up mostly for the alternate-art Edward Newgate Leader and the two Super Rares.
Tournament legality
ST-15 cards are legal in official tournaments from the pre-release date in your region, subject to the official Bandai restriction list.
Collecting, rarity and market
Starter deck cards are largely reprints and single values stay modest, with one exception here: the alternate-art Edward Newgate Leader, which is the card the product is bought for.
Every ST-15 card has its average price on its own page. Those figures follow the market and react mainly to rarity, condition and demand.

ST-15 is also printed in French and Japanese. The French edition released on 7 February 2025, as part of the launch of the French edition of the game.
